About Me
I am Kimberly Dyann. Daughter of Patricia Ann. Granddaughter of Velma Lisbeth and Eunice Elizabeth. Mother of Kevan Danae and Kirin Delizabeth. I’ve repeated these words at blessingways over the years and I cry every time. I’m a little teary eyed right now, truth be told. The women in my bloodline are strong and beautiful. They. We. I. Never do anything in the expected way. Velma Lisbeth gave birth to her babies at home. Eunice Elizabeth was a widow at age 40 and raised 7 children while working as a nurse at the hospital. My mom got married at the age of 17 and raised my sister and I to adulthood before passing away at the age of 55. I had 3 of my 4 kids at home and have worked for over 27 years to help women have happy and healthy pregnancies. Throughout my whole life though, there was always photography. If I wasn’t taking pictures, I was sitting for them. Patricia Ann taught me the value of printed images. She learned it from her mama. I’m thankful that I have pictures of these amazing women and that my beautiful daughter will have pictures left when I’m gone.
