There’s no doubt that the dandelions have been growing like crazy around here this summer. They still haven’t cut the grass across the street. Thankfully we have a contract with a WONDERFUL man who comes and saves me from being completely shamed by the neighbors every couple of weeks. It’s worth every dime.
When I was out in the yard taking pictures of the bird house though, I was eye level with some gnarly looking lawn. I noticed a few things.

- Under the green there is a vast network of cut off brown things.
- Even in the middle of all the dead stuff… life happens.
- Just because the dandelions aren’t yellow anymore, it doesn’t mean they aren’t still beautiful.
So the moral of this story is… just because something looks like a weed, that is no reason the dismiss it or discard it. There is beauty everywhere if you look close enough.
